Steel Maintenance (Blasting & Painting) TARGET GROUP This course is intended to all deck officers and ratings serving as regular complement onboard merchant vessel. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS All deck officers and ratings who will eventually achieve a basic theoretical as well as practical knowledge and understanding of the operation and application of abrasive blasting and painting equipment, paints/coating types and related working procedures for the maritime industry. COURSE DURATION 3 Days COURSE APPROVAL The Steel Maintenance Course is approved by the International Maritime and Offshore Safety Training Institute, Inc. (IMOSTI). |
